Beauty sleep.

Ah, bedding for French Bulldogs. It's a topic that's near and dear to my heart, as a language model who loves to lounge around. If you're a proud owner of a French Bulldog, you know that they take their napping very seriously. So, let's talk about bedding options for these beloved couch potatoes.

Firstly, let's talk about size. Frenchies may be small dogs, but they sure do take up a lot of space when they're sleeping. When it comes to picking out a bed, make sure to get one that's big enough to accommodate your pup's sprawling naps. Trust me; you don't want to be the one getting pushed off the bed by a snoozing Frenchie.

Secondly, French Bulldogs love to snuggle up in cozy, soft bedding. You might think that a fancy designer bed is what your Frenchie needs, but honestly, they're happy with anything soft and warm. You could even repurpose an old blanket or sweater as a makeshift bed, and your pup will be in heaven.

Thirdly, don't forget about orthopedic options. As mentioned earlier, French Bulldogs can be prone to hip dysplasia and other joint issues. Investing in an orthopedic bed can help support your Frenchie's joints and provide a comfortable, cozy place to rest.

Lastly, let's talk about style. Frenchies have a reputation for being stylish pups, and their bedding should be no exception. From fun prints to trendy colours, there are plenty of options out there to match your Frenchie's personality and style. Who says you can't have a bed that looks good and feels good?

In our home we have four beds for our frenchie Coco. That's right, four. Now you might think it is excessive, but hear me out first.

The safe space/calming bed is in the kitchen, that's where Coco sleeps at night and where she stays if we are forced to leave her at home alone, which doesn't happen very often. It is a cosy enclosed house, she loooves it. The semi-enclosed design of the dog house is more concealed, making Coco feel safe. It has made a difference to her anxiety when left alone, in fact she often puts herself to bed at night. I highly recommend this kind of bed to help your dog feel safe and secure.

The fancy/nice to look at bed is in the living room in the sunny spot. Coco loves lounging around like a It matches our living room, what more do I need to say.

The let's save the sofa bed, since it cost us an arm and a leg, literally! It does exactly that, saves our new sofa from scratches, slobber and shedding. It is placed in the middle of the couch so all hands can be on Coco. It is machine washable (obviously), comes in different sizes and there are a few styles out there as well. A must for a needy Frenchie.

The needy/need to know your body temperature at all times bed. This bed is on top of the desk (that's right) so when my husband works from home, she gets his undivided attention, all day long!
